## About

travel.art is in pre-launch state as of 2026-05. The site is being built to publish high-quality, citation-ready content on art-led travel: destination guides, artist residencies, biennale and art-fair itineraries, museum deep-dives. A parallel Model Context Protocol (MCP) server is planned at `mcp.travel.art` to expose structured travel-art data directly to AI agents.

We focus narrowly on the intersection of travel and art:
- Art tourism: cities, neighborhoods, museums, galleries, public art
- Artist travel: residencies, fellowships, plein-air practice
- Art events: biennales, art fairs, festivals, openings
- Art-themed itineraries: multi-city routes by interest

We do not cover general travel, mass-market tourist guides, or unrelated lifestyle content.
